Excellent service. Arrived slightly later than planned but restaurant were fine. Did have to wait sometime for meal, but they were rather busy. Would go again and enjoyed the meal. Did a lovely sparkler in my son's desert for his 13th Birthday - but he was very embarrassed.

We took our daughter and partener and our son for family night out. I had told them how great it was and they must try the Godfather for desert! What a disappointment the Godfathers had no chocolate sauce or honeycombe icecream when we asked and showed the menu they told us the sauce was in the chocolate bownie which was so un true and rock hard!

We dined early evening as a family of three adults and three teenagers. After ordering drinks we had to wait a long time before ordering our meal, many of the items on the main menu were unavailable so we had very limited choice and then had to reconsider our choices. We again had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive and when it did I can only say it was average, mine especially lacked sauce and I found the pasta too al dente. None of my family really enjoyed their meals. When it came to ordering the desserts, they had no vanilla icecream or Godfathers which were the desserts we wanted so we left without a dessert and were very dissapointed with the whole evening.

My Daughter & I have been here several times in the past and had no problems, but this past Saturday the service was awful, luckily we booked a table, but were overlooked when we were waiting to be shown to our table, for people in the queue behind us (we were at the front) who didn't have a booking. When we finally got shown to our table we had to chase a waiter to get a menu as we weren't given one when we sat down. Then when we ordered we sat and waited and waited and waited, evenutally some food was brought to us, But it was the wrong order, so we sat and waited some more, then the wrong food was brought to us again and then yet again. Eventually another waiter came up to us and asked us what had we ordered, he didn't have a menu with him so we had to ask people on the next table if we could borrow theirs so that we could show him. Eventually the correct food and wine arrived and it was very nice. Then when we went to pay we took our bill with us to the till and the waiter that was taking our money (who was also the waiter that took our original food order) said that was the wrong bill, which it wasn't as we had checked it carefully especially after the fiasco with the food order. Our lunches are usually quite leisurely, but that particular lunch took nearly two and a half hours!!! and cut into our shopping time

Pizzas were very poor along with one other meal. Two other good meals. Did receive discount for poor quality.
Service slow - maybe short staffed, but not great attention when you did receive it.
