We had reserved in advance and the table was waiting for us when we arrived. The staff went out of their way to help with the baby member of our party. An excellent venue for a good lunch.

Food was good but location of table in middle of restaurant meant that as it was a very cold evening outside we became quite cold very quickly as constantly experienced a draft. This did spoil the evening overall.

We went as a group of 17-18 year olds at around 1:30 for lunch. I have only ever been to this restaurant in the evening at around 8pm so I was looking forward to see if the experience was any different. I found the service much quicker than in the evening, but I think you find that everywhere in restaurants as lunchtimes are less busy. The food was fantastic as usual and arrived to the table still hot (which you don't always get at other places!) and the staff put in extra effort for me when they found out it was my birthday. They had put balloons on the table and brought dessert out with a sparkler on top and all of the people serving us wished me a happy birthday - all in all, we had a great time!
