We booked for a group of 6 friends on a Saturday evening. When we arrived at the table there were place settings missing.
We were not seen for 10 minutes and then a very unfriendly waiter came and wanted our food order without asking our drinks order first. We then ordered our drinks to be told 5 minutes later that some of the drinks were not available.
After ordering our food, some of our party were then told 5 minutes after ordering that their chosen main course was not available.
Our starters arrived, which were fine but then it took about 30 minutes after these for our mains to arrive. Some of the pasta dishes were luke warm and two of the pizza's were rock solid and burnt!
We had no apology at all. The service was slow and the food average.
Such a shame as we are regular visitors.
Will not be going back in a hurry!

Table reserved a 'quiet' table for 7.30 on a Saturday. Placed in the long seating area with only a feew inches between tables, only able to sit opposite as no room to have the chair placed at the side so had to shout at each other. Pounced on for drinks before even sat down, then waited 45 minutes for a large dish with little content. 2 morsels of chicken in the mushroom and chicken dish. Left feeling hungry and went to Supermarket across the road to buy pudding to take home after looking at the prices on the dessert menu.

My friend, who is very particular about her food and restaurants, was very surprised at the quality of food and decor as she hadn't been to Zizzi before. I think you've just found another customer.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were a group of 22 and they managed to keep the drink flowing and the food hot! The bill could have been more customer friendly and easier to split between food and drinks. We took advantage of the set Valentines menu which worked well for most people in the group. I always enjoy the time I spend in Zizzis so thank you!
