Had pre-theatre drinks in the bar, then returned after the show for a meal in the restaurant. Waiter was friendly, informative and very attentive, despite being rushed off his feet - very popular for pre/post theatre dining. Good menu - chose the "special" and it was very good. Quirky decor - relaxed atmosphere.

1pm for pre theatre lunch. We wanted to find somewhere for a quick bite before the show, but had over an hour before curtain up, so when we noticed Brumus next door to the theatre we thought that as this was our annual pre christmas outing we decided to treat ourselves. We were not disappointed, from the initial greeting to the attentiveness of the waiter (He made us feel as if we were the only ones of importance there that day, even though he showed individuality to all of his customers) to the first class quality of the food. The wine that we chose did not disappoint, even though it was one of the more moderately priced ones available. The food was more than excellant, I cannot recommend it enough.

We arrived late due to traffic for our pre theatre lunch, staff were very patient and most helpful, they somehow managed to present our meals in the short time we had available. The food was excellent and although pricey still good value for money. Would and hopefully will return again.
