We keep returning as it is just a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and gorgeous food.
We usually dine in the evening, however we had a sunday lunch there a few weeks ago. It was gorgeous and huge. I took a doggy bag home and had the rest for tea.

We got there and was took to our table straight away, ordered a drink and looked over the menu. The early bird menu is a good offer and so are some of the offers on beers and wines. I had my meal off the regular menu and my husband had the early bird menu. I didn't order a starter and the brought my a little cup (aperitif) of there very yummy mushroom soup. We enjoyed our meals very much, they where really delicious. The dessert was omg!! We will definitely be going back.

Meeting with work colleagues from Scotland and London, it was great to show them what Warrington had to offer and "the Grill on the Square" was a great example of a fantastic resturant!!

Dined in the early evening, table was ready within 5 minutes, had no complaints about the food which was superb,or the service, the staff were very friendly and professional.

Dined at 7pm. Meal and service were excellent - from the moment we walked in we were looked after. Staff checked regularly that we were enjoying the food. Only slight negative factor was the very low lighting which meant you could not really see the food on your plate. We were sitting at a corner table so maybe the light was better elsewhere.

3 of us booked a table for 8.30pm on a Friday. Lovely ambiance, friendly staff and excellent food as always. Entertainment is a bit too loud to enable much conversation though....pardon?

We have been to the grill on the square twice now. First time for Sunday lunch (lamb was fantastic)then again for lunch on a Friday.We had the pork and mash and Fish and chips, both meals were excellent.One little recommendation Bring back the white chocalate perfiteroles they are outstanding and need to return as we have told all our friends how good they are.Overall a fantastic dining experiance, many thanks.
