My first visit to this very elegant restaurant was a truly wonderful experience. Attentive, friendly and very efficient staff and quite delicious food from the set menu which included two glasses of wine.

We went on a Bookatable package and had a very enjoyable meal. The menu was restricted, but there was still plenty of choice; my risotto was particularly good and the Eccles cake dessert delicious as well as witty. The dining room is very attractive with windows on 2 sides, the tables well spaced and - best of all - no music!

Excellent dining experience at The Goring. 3 courses and 2 glasses of quality Chardonnay very good value money. Have booked to return and will also pop in for cocktails as they have a lovely terrace and garden. Jenny Russell

The dining room at The Goring is a beautiful & tranquil room, despite being 2 minutes from Victoria station.
I particularly like the space between tables; you don't feel you are crammed into a space where your elbows are hitting the diner on your neighbouring table!!
Service was attentive & friendly; we had booked a lunch special deal but ended up eating a la carte, however we did not feel pressurised to do this.
Dishes were executed with beautiful precision, as you would expect. Seasonal ingredients with a strong British theme.
However, we were probably the youngest diners in the room! Mean age of customers was probably 65...
Overall a lovely lunch.
