We were met and escorted to our table by the restaurant manager. The whole experience of the superb surrounding was a joy. Food and service was at the highest standard. We also met some notable people from the music industry adding to our enjoyment. Would highly recommend for those who enjoy old school dining experience with no background music and who enjoy service.

We had a lovely evening with delicious food (my sea bream starter was one of the best I have ever had) & perfect wines which were much enjoyed - & the staff were delightful & a key feature. I have one suggestion: that not every staff member asks how you are as it interrupts being with one's partner & the conversation (we experienced 12 in 10 minutes between entering, going to the bar & sitting to eat. A pleasant dining room but a bit cold on atmosphere, made up for by the lovely staff who are a key feature.

The staff were very welcoming and immediately found us a table on the terrace overlooking the garden where we had our drinks and canapés.We had a pleasant interlude
before being shown to our table in the dining room. The room was spacious and diners were sufficiently spaced so as not to intrude on others conversations .The service was excellent, the dishes being explained by the efficient young waiters. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner which was good value and delicious. We would like to visit again next time we are in London.

The Dinning Room is delightful, bright, and attractive, with tables well spaced so facilitate private conversation.
Lunch was beautifully presented, and something of a gastronomic adventure. Will most certainly return at a future date

It is always a pleasurre to have Sunday lunch at The Goring. The service is exceptionally good, the food is always of a high standard (the green pea soup starter this time was one of the best starters I've eaten) and the tables are arranged so that one does not feel crowded or overheard. Very pleasant experience.
