The latest of our visits to a 'Jamie's '. Our visits to a restaurant are about the whole experience not just food. Very disappointed that despite booking 48 hours notice through Bookatable we were greeted ( 5 mins early) by much scanning of a screen for a table. We were then placed on a table for two detached from a table housing a party of 12 screeching women who all talked at the same time. I find I prefer to be able to hear and speak to my partner, so after a quick main we exited. Disappointing experience.

We really loved the meal, the food was superb, and we were very impressed with the steampunk decor...However two things happened whilst we were there which we found disturbing A very scruffy sweaty man .walked past our table on several occasions carrying a very heavy and disgusting grey, container full off dirty dishes and used food ,it was very off putting and we were very concerned about his well being from a health and safety point of view, similarly another man, passed by us carrying a transparent bag of recyclables banging into our table as he passed...we did not feel it was appropriate to see these activities whilst eating our meal ,which if we had paid full price would have been above average cost ,as we had an amazon voucher we let it ride ,but I would be looking into an alternative route or time to do this if it was my business...

This is our 2nd time in the last month, we love the good at Jamie's and recieved a special offer which was £30 each with a glass of bubbles. I was a bit disappointed that we had to tell the waitress about the offer as she didn't know about it and had to find the manager when we recieved the menus it was nothing like the on line menu. Even though the food was very good as normal we did feel like we were then 2nd best and the service was slow.

Loved the restaurant, great atmosphere and very attentive staff! I did mention that the crab spaghettini I had, probably had my entire sodium allowance for a month (in my half portion) with anchovies and capers! I did eat it just it would have been more pleasant with a little less salt! The burger was super scrum my and I would still recommend going to the restaurant! I just would have something else!

Lovely food, but one of your staff had a bad day.
We have been travelling around for two weeks in England and met so much friendlyness everywhere. We are from Denmark.
This was one exception.
She talked fast and mumbled, was perhaps from France, and we felt, we were annoying here.
