We booked this as a birthday treat for my wife before the theatre, 17-45 booking we were the only ones in the restaurant, sadly there was a power cut between starters and the main course which wasn't going to be fixed for an hour so we had to leave and sit through Les Mis on only a very small starter..... What more can I say ???

This is a wonderful restaurant. The welcome was friendly yet efficient. Staff attentive but unobtrusive, dined at our pace not theirs. Extremely comfortable seating, space and privacy. The food was extraordinary value for the set price menu. We are checking diaries for a prompt return. Highly recommended, seriously go there as soon as you can.

The lunch fixed price menu with rose wine cocktail aperitif is excellent value. Good bread, tapenade with croustade to get things going and a choice of three dishes for each of the three courses. The food was well presented, just the right size portions, well cooked and tasty. Reasonable wine list, though many bottles are rather expensive/overpriced for a casual lunch. Service was efficient.

We dined at Cigalon for an evening meal as a group of friends. The food was exquisite - although we all agreed the portions could have been a bit bigger. The wine selection was exquisite and the sommelier was very informative and helpful. We used the star deal so the meal was great value for money.I would definitely recommend.

We dined at 18:45. Though it was a Thursday night the restaurant was not full. Sat in one of the booths which are absolutely the Beas seats in the house!! The lack of diners did not detract from the lovely feeling of the restaurant. The decor is stunning, especially the lighting. It was also great to see they gad a private room. The service was very good and the food was excellent. We had the set menu which was fantastic value for money. Despite the fact that we had the set menus we were not rushed and in fact were the last to leave. I would definitely go again. Didn't get a chance to check out the bar so looking forward to doing that next time.
