More about Cigalon

Set in a magnificent former auction house, Cigalon brings the fine cuisine of Provence to London. A lively open kitchen offers a flourish of entertainment in Cigalon's effortlessly elegant setting.

Showcasing a classy selection of French recipes, the Cigalon menu sees adventurous flavours served alongside simple yet succulent grill options. Favourites at Cigalon Chancery Lane include roasted suckling pig belly with caramelised peach and butternut squash, or a sublimely fresh market fish of the day served straight from the grill.

For more informal dining, the Baranis bar offers a laidback vibe, where guests can enjoy a bespoke cocktail and Mediterranean-style bar snacks. Plush, cocoon-style booth seating, subdued lighting and exposed brickwork makes Baranis a luxurious yet intimate setting.

From the team behind Michelin-starred Club Gascon, Cigalon and Baranis is also home to the UK's only indoor petanque court. Chancery Lane Tube Station is 7 minutes’ walk away.

A perfect evening. Gretted with courtesy and warmth - food was excellent - cocktail good and wine good. Lovely decor and - the nicest table (a corner - given cheerfully when I asked) so my guest and I could sit side by side - wonderful!! Great value for money too.

Very cute restaurant in a quiet location of Chancery Lane. All the dishes are amasing. The portions are just right. The staff are very attentive.

Very good food, excellent service and great atmosphere. But please, let's all just say 'no' to the over-priced water and consign this nonsense to history.

A lovely experience. There were 3 of us and each ordered a different thing from the special 3 course dinner menu. All 3 of us loved what we got. So, although it may seem rather limiting to have a choice only of 1 veggie dish, 1 fishy dish, and 1 meaty dish, I can recommend all three. We thought it was remarkably good value -- 3 courses + a champagne cocktail for £20 -- though of course the price went up by the time we'd ordered a bottle of wine. Also, the setting was beautiful and the waitstaff were very nice.

Beautiful restaurant with very nice service from start to finish. The food and presentation was perfect. The flavours, quality of food and cooking skills exceptionally good. I think any dish here would be very good.

Really excellent dinner. Had the beef tongue - which was delicious; the guinea fowl which was moist and crisp; and a lovely lush dark chocolate cake. I particularly liked that the waiter recommended us a wine that fit, not the most expensive one. Service was very attentive and fast. the place is very cosy and chic. definitely would go again.
