Lunched with some friends at 1.00pm. Good food. Well priced and excellent service. Wonderful ambience and good experience. The self ordering from the hitech table worked very well.
Could have been busier, although we know it always is in the evening.

This was the 5th time i was in this restaurant and the service,food etc has decreased incredible, from the beginning the lady that guided us to our table was very unfriendly and when i said i knew how it works "she did such a release face(great you do ok)!!"i just left us there....
Then they mix the times of the starters and the main courses, forgot one of the main courses ,when they brought it was completely COLD , plus most of the food was kind of cold and the size for the prize very small ,finally they completely forgot the dessert we waited 20 mins and when i asked for the bill another 20 mins so we actually had to go and pay directly and i asked to speak to the manager and he only said "we were terribly busy,sorry"and i said not really taking into account it was a sunday night plus even the waiter said the main course was ready to pick it up and take it to table!!!!he at least could offer a dessert and not let us go like that ...what a disappointment it was much better before i think they made an effort at the beginning but afterwards they don't care anymore as if this 2010 award is gonna last for ever!!!
So i decided to write a review and what a surprise i found out there are so many BAD reviews, what a shame i did not check this before going in there....cos i wasted my money ,time and the experienced was horrible.

Friday evening meal was a complete contrast to a weekday evening meal some months ago. Prices had gone up as quickly as the volume dial and what was a fun, novel and quite refined experience was brash and expensive.

I went to this restaurant with my finance as a pre - engagement dinner and for me overall it was a complete let down from the reviews I read and had heard about it.

1. I specifically wrote on my booking this was a pre engagement meal and I was expecting the restaurant to at least notice this and congratulate us but nothing.

2. We were shown to our seats with what seemed a futuristic way of order as the table was touch screen you did all your ordering electronically. The lady who showed us how to use it whizzed through it so quick and walked off leaving us both bemused you could clearly see she had done this 100 times before and thought it was straight forward.

3. Ordering the food was a nightmare they brought my girlfriends starter out first then forgot mine so by the time she was done I was just starting then they decide to bring all the other starters plus all the main course at once. I was furious I said to the waiter can we at least finish our starters before the main course or it will get cold. He replied sorry does not work like that here we bring everything out as and when its cooked which for me is totally ridiculous and a very silly idea.

4. The food quality was terrible the beef was bland, no real flavour or seasoning for me I was not impressed and my girlfriend did not finish her meal.

5. The price for me was not good at all and I do not think it was value for money. Our meal came to over £100 and for what we got in the package I was very disappointed.

I personally will not be going back there and would not recommend it to my friends or family. The concept of the restaurant is great and innovative but they have got all the fundamentals of fine dinning and how everything works totally wrong which is such a shame for this innovative restaurant.

The overall experiance was very poor. The novelty of the ordering system and the games on the tables soon wore off, after about 5 minutes.
The whole thing was uncoordinated. Four of us made sure we ordered our dishes at the same time, but are food came at different times, which is not exactly nice when you have gone out as a group. When one dish did come the waiter had to take it back as it arrived cold.
The quality of the food was not bad but nothing to write home about, however I expected much, much more for the price of the dishes.
The biggest let down by far was the quality of the service from start to finish. One waiter did not even believe I had ordered a Miso soup and had the ordasity instead of going to the kitchen to ask told me he did not believe i did and checked the ordering history on the table only to be proved wrong.
To sum up I wouldnt reccommend going here, there are far better japanese cuisine restaurants out there for a lot less. I could carry on with my gripe but I will leave it there. Except, honestly a high street chain would of been a better option for a sit down meal...

I have eaten here before but last night the service was poor!! The food was good when it arrived. My friend ordered desert and after 25 minutes she had to leave to get her train! When I mentioned it to a "manager" they really were not that bothered and when we asked one of the girls for our coats it was if we were really putting her out!!
Wont be going back.....

Meal was good and we had fun with the experience but the resturant was not full and we felt we were forgotten about. They forgot one of my orders, took a long time to get drink, ignored our waiter service request and ignored our request for the bill. It took us half an hour to pay the bill.

The interactive tables are really cool and innovative - it's worth going for that alone just to experience it! You can read the menu projected on the table, call the waiter, play about with the table background, and loads of other things. The Pan-Asian food was good and the funky design add to the lively atmosphere. inamo is definitely an experience everyone should try at least once.
