Very slow service, waitress couldn't explain the happy hour properly. Starters came at the same time than mains. Lovely food but poor service. We were expecting any little treat at the end or an apologize but didn't happen.

Got there early and shown to reserved window table immediately, by the time we were leaving there was a queue out the door so well worth making a reservation.
Friendly proactive staff explained menu and options, ensured we had water, side plates, took extra drinks orders.
Food was really really good - the Thali plates are a great way of getting a taste of many small dishes. All food was very fresh and full of flavour yes the hotter dishes were hot, but with intense flavour not a brute force chili hit. Two of our non chilli diners really liked their korma dishes.
We will go back!

Went on a Thu evening, luckily booked via bookatable and walked straight past the small queue. Having read mixed reviews I was slightly apprehensive, but found the food pretty good (though not the best Indian food), and atmosphere relaxed enough to have conversation, and service attentive when needed without being overbearing.

We arrived half an hour early and received a lovely welcome and an immediate seat. The attention, advice and quickness of service was very welcome. It was our special wedding anniversary on this 2nd visit to the restaurant, and the staff, without asking, presented us with a complementary decorated sweet, which we found truly thoughtful! Well done and thank you everyone.

we dined as a couple on a saturday early evening 6pmish. After an afternoon at the theatre this was a real treat. We came last year and we will be back, but we will not wait so long this time. Intend to come later this month. service is excellant, food brill, and the service friendly and quick. We have told all our friends about masala zone.
We loved it. And I am sure that many of our friends will do too.

1730 meal. Very glad we booked as it was packed with pre theatre diners. Tried the Thali dish. Absolutly superb and terrific value at [$] per head for early dining.
