Had a fantastic meal, the service was superb and the restaurant itself was lovely, I will definitely go back.

Service was very good, nothing was too much trouble for the waiter.
However I found the meal to be a tad disappointing. The main was chicken breast which was cooked well but lacked flavour , as did the thai salad dressing. It was presented well, but taste is fundamental to be honest
The trio of deserts was very good, the strawberry milkshake was excellent.
A pleasant environment, let down by the main course.

Fantastic food with great service I have never seen a Prawn cocktail as large and beautiful presented which tasted amazing . The other starter were great too . The main courses were beautiful and very filling especially the smoked haddock fish cakes WOW .
Finished with a superb desert this came with a glass of wine house wine which wasn't too bad the ambience in the restaurant is great and will be going again and will be trying the Sunday Brunch which I am told is equally great.

Friendly, professional service and beautiful food in a unique setting. Busy atmosphere but as it is fairly small, you still feel very much looked after. Have dined and stayed at this hotel before, so the offer represented excellent value.

We dined on the special offer party menu. The menu options and quality of the food were great. My only feedback is that the portions were really too large for the female tummy. The wine list is fairly ok with some budget bottles available as well as wines for the more discerning enthusiast. I've not visited the Malmaison for a few years prior the decor and environment was a very moody, boudoir dark and red , the refurbishment has delivered a fresh new ambiance with views over to the bar, and we liked it. The place was busy and had a great atmosphere. Many thanks to the staff who were uber professional and very warm and friendly - just the right balance in terms of service. I would definitely recommend this place for all aspects, quality of food, service, and environment
