Aqua Kyoto was great for a girlie night and the food experience. Amazing deal but I wouldnt want to go there without the deal. With the hidden taxes on top of everything it would have made it horrendously expensive. Regarding the food, we all agreed that we were pleasantly surprised on how yummy it was. It was obvious that the menu was well thought out and was really filling.
Would definitely go again with the deal.

The restaurant was extremely noisy and obviously frequented by young people - we are in our sixties and felt rather out of place. We are not familiar with Japanese food but enjoyed the food except the desserts which were over sweet. The service was excellent.

Amazing experience! I went for a romantic dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday evening with the bookatalbe offer 3 courses + cocktail for £25(which is only available until 7.30pm). The meal was lovely, and we enjoyed all the courses. Additional rice, edamame, miso soup and omelette did complement beautifully our meal. Would definitely recommend!

I loved Aqua. it's got a really great atmosphere and the £25 was amazing value! The only thing was, we booked for 7.30 and felt rushed through every stage of the meal because it was a special deal - they constantly looked like they wanted to get us out of there and asked for our orders/ to take things away continuously. The roof bar was pretty spectacular.

The set menu was a good bargain with 3 courses and a glass of cocktail. Appetizers and main course were great, dessert disappointing. Service was alright but waiters took out plates away too quickly - sometimes before we even finished. All in all would go again for the set on its promotional prices but not full price menu. Rooftop bar is a place to stop for a quick drink perhaps with music and DJ on the back. Verdict - more ambience than substance.
