The food was superb although rather rich and the ambiance could not be better. Wine rather expensive but an extensive wine list for the well-off.

I made a silly mistake and arrived thinking I had booked for that day with an offer. They kindly seated my table and gave us another offer, 2 courses for £25 with a drink included. Service was lovely and the atmosphere like many hotel restaurants. Sadly the food was a bit disappointing, my pasta was very dry and tasteless.

Great restaurant, great food and great service. They need to have background music on. Restaurant only had 5 tables until 8.30pm and it felt very quiet and you could here the music from the bar. They could pipe in the same music into the restaurant. Thanks.

We booked the £20 two course lunch offer at Amaranto and were concerned when we were given a "20 Minute Menu" with no starters and very quickly asked whether we had chosen our main course. However, after that we were not rushed and the service was very good and the staff were friendly. The food was excellent with a good selection of breads to start with. Overall it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

We booked the lunch deal for £20 and when we arrived they sat us down and gave us full price menus presumably trying to embarrass us into paying full price! I'm a Scot so that didn't work, I went to the desk and informed them it was the lunch deal I had booked and after much humming and ahhing it was sorted. Food was fantastic but the service a bit amateurish which I would never expect from the Four Seasons, having stayed at George V and Terre Blanche Four Seasons, I would not go back to the London FS.
