We booked for afternoon tea as the menu on the bookatable site looked fab.
When we arrived we were told the menu we wanted was not available which was very disappointing
The food and service was lovely but we felt we had been misled so this spoilt our overall experience

Had champagne afternoon tea yesterday with a friend and we were both very impressed. The hotel was amazing, food was delicious and plenty, the service was outstanding and overall well worth the money...We were not rushed and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Would recommend and we will be returning in the future.

My friend and I had afternoon tea using a special offer. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was good, the tea was top quality and the service was excellent. The ambience was calm with gentle music in the background.

Good can be improved overall however one disappointing fact was my offer said a glass of Champage instead I was poured half a glass..! Which in those very thin Champage flutes lasted for a couple of minutes..! Wasn't even offered a refill. That was slightly cheap of a good hotel me & my friends thought. As we didn't properly get our deal.. Downer on the night.

From start to finish the staff were attentive and friendly making sure we were enjoying our dining experience. . ..The dining room was stunning and beautifully decorated. The food was very well presented and each course had beautiful flavours, the whole meal was of great credit to the chef. The waiter was informative both on the food and designer of the dining room, I would not hesitate to return or recommend the restaurant .

The champagne afternoon tea for 2 was fantastic. Despite the offer only being for the English afternoon tea menu, the extremely helpful and friendly waiter said we could both choose any of the 3 menus (English, Italian or vegetarian). We stuck with the English and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambience was good and in an intimate setting. If you prefer the lively and wide open style of the likes of harrods then perhaps it's not for you, but we liked it. The only thing we weren't keen on was the chocolate cake as it was a little too dense, but everything else was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and they also gave us seconds on the sandwiches. Left completely stuffed and very happy!
