Lovely location in heart of park lane with outside terrace and beautiful dining/bar. Food and service very good. Great selection of cocktails, wine etc. Only downside is that the service charge is 15% which is highest around. However worth it.

Very elegant inviting setting opening on to oasis-syle , double-level garden with Hyde Park backdrop. An unexpected treasure in the middle of a busy metropolis.
Well presented, quality food did not deliver Italian authenticity in spite of big name Italian Chef.
£10.- for a glass of a generic Dauvignon blanc !
Attentive, alert service justifies the rather hefty 15% charge.

Amaranto is a comfortable and very pleasant restaurant. The lighting is not too bright, the tables are generally well spaced, and the service is friendly and efficient. The food is excellent: simple but very tasty, with excellent flavours. The only reservation I had is that they charged a £5 supplement on the only fish main course, and that additional charge was not on the menu that came with the offer on-line.

Service was excellent! The 3 course menu delicious - better than I expected. The sun terrace with cocktails and tapas was the highlight.

Amazing food
Had to wait 25 minutes to be seated even though we had reserved

The food was superb although rather rich and the ambiance could not be better. Wine rather expensive but an extensive wine list for the well-off.

I made a silly mistake and arrived thinking I had booked for that day with an offer. They kindly seated my table and gave us another offer, 2 courses for £25 with a drink included. Service was lovely and the atmosphere like many hotel restaurants. Sadly the food was a bit disappointing, my pasta was very dry and tasteless.
