The pasta was insipid and the pizza bases were poorly done

We dined at 7.30 pm.
Menu choice was fab - plenty to choose from and something to suit all my family.
The food was absolutely delicious.
Service was friendly, super efficient and the waitress Sam made my family feel really special - nothing was too much trouble and her care of us was genuine.
We sat near the kitchen area and the chefs interacted with my children who were just delighted.
Also the manager was on the floor and came to say hello at our table.

Dined at 1830. Little or no time between courses, would like more time. Spoilt the experience a little. Staff friendly.

Due to an unforeseen family commitment, we found ourselves looking for somewhere to eat in Bromley on Valentine's evening. Even though the restaurant was quite busy the staff were efficient and friendly. The food was as good as expected and was presented very well. Even though the restaurant was only offering a Valentines menu, they were happy to provide alternate drinks and switch the bill to an a-la-carte price. Most of the tables are nicely spaced so as not to feel crowded.

When we walked in we were impressed by the decor and atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. All three of us ordered mushrooms from a specials menu, they took ages to arrive and when they did they were really burnt. When we complained the head waitress took them away without an apology and returned a little while later to say they had no more. Then the manager came and said he'd personally cook us fresh ones (so they did have more) and when this arrived they were also a little overcooked. Our mains arrived before we had finished our starters and we were not offered black pepper or Parmesan although other tables were. We has no cutlery when our desserts arrived. We had to ask for our bill twice and then negotiate a reduction for our bad experience. There was a party of thirty in which obviously put the kitchen under pressure so perhaps we were just unlucky but we won't be going back to find out.
