After the initial confusion (they didn't have our booking on the system), our afternoon tea experience at the Threadneedle Hotel was lovely. We followed our afternoon tea with a delicious glass of prosecco. Thank you for making our family afternoon a special memory.

Table and chairs were lovely and comfortable and great atmosphere in the room. Waiting staff were very courteous and nothing seemed too much trouble. The tea itself was lovely with a good variety and more than enough portions of both sandwiches and cakes and some different savouries which you don't normally get when dining out. It was also nice that when requesting more tea and coffee we were not charged any extra for it. All in all a very good experience and I would definitely go back again.

The nicest thing was the glass dome. The venue does not invest in afternoon teas, which we should probably have realised. Only tea bag tea was available. The sandwiches were very tasty but the scones were miniscule and dry. No additional cake was offered. Staff were quite friendly but distant. It would have been better just to have had a glass of wine and admired the dome.

We went there for the afternoon tea. The room was beautiful. The service was very good, but the food was just OK. The tea, however, was very good!

Nice, very fresh food. Good value for money and stunning glass roof. Were offered to order more of all items if we wanted to with no additional cost. Service was random and slow though. Not very popular place on weekends as it seemed but good to escape the excess afternoon places in touristic area in London

Went for wife's birthday. Super room, and had possibly the most tender calamari ever! A very nice experience all round.

Fantastic food, oysters were amazing and they had sold out of rib eye but the sirloin was really excellent. It was a quiet evening in the city being a Friday night but the ambience was still good and our waiter, Jordon, was fab.
