More about Franco's Restaurant

One of London’s longest-standing Italian eateries, Franco’s Restaurant has been serving traditional Italian dishes for over 6 decades. Enjoying a prestigious location close to Piccadilly, it is surrounded by boutiques and art galleries, and evolves as the day wears on: from quiet breakfast spot, to buzzing lunch venue, to romantic restaurant in the evening.

Franco’s a la carte theatre menu is popular among visitors to the West End, while the dinner menu boasts sumptuous dishes such as pan-fried sea bass with aubergine puree, cherry tomatoes, capers & baby courgettes, pappardelle with delicate foie gras & basil, and decadent chocolate profiteroles.

Diners can enjoy a light lunch on the pavement tables under the canopy, watching the city go by; or can opt for an elegant 5-course meal in Franco’s Venetian-style restaurant, with its polished wooden floors and floor-length mirrors.

Franco’s Restaurant in St James’s just a 3-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station, and a 10-minute walk from Shaftesbury Avenue and Theatreland.

A lovely dinner with simple but superb dishes. I had spaghetti and lamb chops (not together) A fairly raucous group in the corner but everyone seemed happy. Very professional and attentive service. It always lives up to our expectations.

Food as always was excellent. However, senior waitress downstairs whilst being efficient was actually quite rude and totally uninterested in any polite conversation despite the restaurant becoming quiet. I used to eat lunch once a week in Francos when I worked round the corner. I'm not sure this particular experience would encourage me to make my visits as regular as they once were. A real shame

Dining at Franco's is always a pleasure, with friendly and efficient staff working well as a team to provide a pleasant dining experience in a very well appointed restaurant. We opted for a two course meal which we couldn't fault, from the Pork Medallions to Tiramisu and Sicilian Canoli for dessert.
