Lovely and interesting food, almost too much to eat. Certainly a few notches up from the 'Brick Lane' experience and no more expensive. Great service and not too noisy. It was a hot evening and they turned on the air con when they realised we were suffering but I was surprised it was not on already.

My companion and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Cinnamon. We had opted for the eight dish Star Deal and a cocktail (Super Deal) for £24. A gorgeous mango and vodka cocktail was served to our outside table by our attentive but not obtrusive waiter. The dishes were varied and well cooked, more than enough to share, we struggled to finish our deserts.

The food was fabulous, the mojitos were perfect, the service, although polite, was a tad on the slow side but saying that, I'd definitely go back.

A very good experience. Delicious food beautifully presented. Service was brilliant, friendly but professional and importantly even tho we chose to eat outside, we did not feel deserted. Someone even noticed we had finished our jug of water and brought a refill. The sharing menu was excellent value and we will definitely return.

Quality of the food was very good, portion sizes were generous and the service friendly and informative. Overall ambience was informal and relaxed, ideal for a summer evening.

Some friends and I went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation but they gave us a table down stairs, we asked to be move and they said we will have to wait around an hour, but eventually they changed us in 5 minutes.
Food was ok, very disorganised though, they did not explain the dishes, the staff was having little arguments in front of us...
When we asked to have cake they said no, but later they let us have our cake...
We had a lovely time, but not because of the restaurant or service.
London can offer you better places.

We took an American friend here recently for dinner, who wasn't familiar with this type of food. It was perfect - we had the 8 dish set menu and from the opening mango and mint cocktail, she was hooked! Each dish was beautifully presented and explained as it arrived and it was spaced out perfectly, rather than arriving all at once. The quality of each dish was excellent and a good variety of flavours and spices. Excellent value for money as the set meal was reasonably priced. Staff were lovely, although service did get a bit slow towards the end of the evening - we had to ask for plates to be cleared and they 'forgot' our order for tea/coffees at the end, but overall it was a lovely experience and we would definitely return. I want to try the High Chai afternoon tea menu!
