More about Cinnamon Soho

From the same stock as London favourites The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen, Cinnamon Soho offers innovative Indian cuisine. Set over 2 levels, an al fresco terrace features edgy brushed steel and racing-car-blue leather. Cinnamon Soho was a winner in the Best Menu category at the esteemed London Restaurant Festival Awards 2012.

Crafted with the knowing eye of executive chef Vivek Singh, the Cinnamon Soho menu offers contemporary Indian recipes, with classic British accents weaved throughout. A bespoke window in the Cinnamon Soho dining room offers views onto the chefs creating dishes like Keralan seafood pie, ox cheek vindaloo, or lassi panna cotta with tamarind-glazed figs.

Bursting with exotic and refreshing blends, a prized selection of cocktails at Cinnamon Soho London includes a subtly spiced cinnamon bellini, or a cool garden mojito. An eclectic assortment of bottles make up the wine list, with many available by the glass or carafe.

Featuring slick, Scandinavian-style design, Cinnamon Soho restaurant is perfectly in tune with the edginess of nearby Carnaby Street. Oxford Circus Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away.

Some friends and I went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation but they gave us a table down stairs, we asked to be move and they said we will have to wait around an hour, but eventually they changed us in 5 minutes.
Food was ok, very disorganised though, they did not explain the dishes, the staff was having little arguments in front of us...
When we asked to have cake they said no, but later they let us have our cake...
We had a lovely time, but not because of the restaurant or service.
London can offer you better places.

We took an American friend here recently for dinner, who wasn't familiar with this type of food. It was perfect - we had the 8 dish set menu and from the opening mango and mint cocktail, she was hooked! Each dish was beautifully presented and explained as it arrived and it was spaced out perfectly, rather than arriving all at once. The quality of each dish was excellent and a good variety of flavours and spices. Excellent value for money as the set meal was reasonably priced. Staff were lovely, although service did get a bit slow towards the end of the evening - we had to ask for plates to be cleared and they 'forgot' our order for tea/coffees at the end, but overall it was a lovely experience and we would definitely return. I want to try the High Chai afternoon tea menu!

We had the £24 taster menu, which proved more than enough for two people unless you want to stuff your face! Beautifully prepared and presented Indian food with just the right amount of heat and spice, and a complimentary mango cocktail that was light, sharp and not too sweet (the Cinnamon Club cocktails are world-renowned). The Soho restaurant is just north of Golden Square, about 5 minutes from Piccadilly circus. It's a little hot inside on a bright summer day, but there is plenty of extra seating downstairs - I'd advise the manager to put large parties downstairs if the restaurant isn't too full, as the only downer on the evening was the noise.

Sullen and slow service, in a banal atmosphere - the food was mostly served cold or lukewarm, which made it a lot less tasty (e.g., what could have been hot seaming roti was limp cold roti) although it had been nicely cooked and flavored. We had a special tasting menu, a good deal at 25 pounds for 8 courses, but I still wouldn't go back as it just wasn't an appealing overall experience. Without a special-priced menu, the prices are also really high considering the casualness of the restaurant.

Lovely food, casual atmosphere. Nice and relaxing. Had the taster menu, which was lovely to try different options and came with a lovely cocktail. Staff were happy to accommodate a slight change in one of the seafood courses for me. It was as nice as we expected it to be. Would definately return

I love Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen, so this new addition to the Cinnamon chain was something I looked forward to trying, and they did not disappoint me! The quality of food was equivalent to its sister restaurants while pricing is more reasonable. The service was excellent and efficient. I particularly appreciated their flexibility to change the number of sharable "ball" appetisers to be appropriate to the number of guests; we were 3 and they were able to give us 3 of each 5 selections. This kind of subtle but helpful assistance is essential for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Totally amazing food!
The bookatable offer was 5 course taster meal and a cocktail for £35. The only difference to the price at the restaurant was the free cocktail. So there wasn't a real massive benefit to booking through book a table. We told the waiter this and he deducted £5 off the price each. So we couldn't argue with that ! Would def recommend
