More about The Parcel Yard

Housed within a Grade I-listed building at London's King’s Cross Station, The Parcel Yard offers an excellent British menu and spectacular views of the platforms and trains. Spread over 2 floors, the pub’s industrial interior features original fixtures and an airy glass atrium which makes for a stunning centrepiece.

A Fullers pub and raising the bar for standard station food, The Parcel Yard kitchen makes the best use of fresh, seasonal ingredients in dishes like Scotch duck egg with crispy pork crackling, and British veal chop. Sample tasty seafood dishes such as baked Cornish crab, Loch Duart salmon and grilled plaice with samphire, cockle and mussel dressing.

Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in an apple, apricot and golden syrup crumble, or a rich chocolate truffle cake. The Parcel Yard drinks menu includes an interesting array of wines, draught beers and ales.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at The Parcel Yard at King’s Cross Station, or a quick lunch before heading out to catch your train.

Excellent, Ambience, service, food, wine and,of course, beer were first class. Plenty of room between the tables so that even a noisy bunch of pint-drinking businessmen did not impinge on our conversation. I had been to the pub a couple of times before but not the restaurant. I shall return. I travelled in my job and have wined and dined in some 50 countries so am not easily impressed.

Excellent service

The restaurant was quieter than expected, probably because it was Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend. The menu has some interesting choices but my friend's roast was lukewarm. He didn't send it back because we were short of time. I would go back and give it another chance as it's a great venue, particularly if you are catching a train and don't want to eat at one of the chains in the station.

busy early Friday evening but service was excellent & food really good though limited choice of main meal for the vegetarian in the party.

mid-week evening meal with friends, relaxed but very friendly service, good food at reasonable prices. Although very busy, the staff were accommodating when we stated we'd be a little late at the booked table as one of the group was not dining & had a train to catch so we were finishing drinks in another section of the venue.

Bar staff seemd a bit annoyed and claimed we had booked for 5pm when it was clear from my confirmation text that it was a table of 5 for 1900h.

Burger was good but expensive. Other options (duck salad and artichoke tart) were a little dissappointing and not good value.

Ales were excellent - Fuller's pubs usually get this right. Ale prices OK but other drinks (including soft drinks) very expensive in comparison.

We booked for a group of friends who meet up once a month for dinner. Meal, wine and ordering service were great. The down side was that the air-conditioning was just overwhelming! It unfortunately meant that the food cooled too quickly and by the end I needed a hot drink to warm up.
The staff were a bit slow getting the bill and there is no low-alcohol beers - Bitburger Drive, Becks Blue, etc... which was a let down for a few that were driving and a couple of the pregnant girls who fancied a little tipple. Shame, as that's very easily fixable.

Otherwise, great decor, bar and table service very attentive and loos art lovely!

Just past Platform 9 and three-quarters, up the stairs and into the most wonderful old building. Derelect for so long but now brilliantly restored and converted to a bar/restaurant. Nice combination of large and intimate areas, Persian carpets on the floor, and sitting below the soaring glass atrium, you could believe you were outside. Food and wine were pretty good too. Loved it!
