Unfortunately the restaurant had run out of ingredients for many of the main courses, the initial reception from staff was offputting treating me as if it was my fault I was unaware of this. Our server was pleasant but service was slow. The food was good but slow to arrive and we had a problem with one of the side dishes, which was replaced. I confess that I nearly walked out without paying because no one was around to take my money. I won't be going back anytime soon.

We spent ten minutes waiting for our table, although we had been seen. In the end I had to get one of the bar staff to get a waitress out. My medium rare steak came out more medium, and the bbq ribs were dry.

My 3 year old Granddaughter will always ask for Macaroni Cheese from Child's Menu which she loves. This time however, it was horrible and she would not eat it. My daughter tasted it and agreed. Her comment was "I think they have forgotten the cheese. Everything else, including Staff service was wonderful.

Decor is a little tatty but the staff were attentive, very friendly and gave superb service. Good was very good - we all enjoyed our meals very much

Also went out of their way to prepare me a special drink.

Had the salmon on grilled veg..... Cost £11.99. What a disappointment... Veg were very oily and the fish over grilled...not worth the price... Was offered another but already waited half and hour so didn't want to wait again for replacement. Very disappointing.. Prices have all gone up. Just about priced themselves out of the market for us.

Unfortunately the waiter forgot to give the garlic bread with the lasagne and there was a muddle over what sides there should be, otherwise it was fine

Enjoyed our meal although the fish was too wet and the profiteroles were still frozen in the middle.

My wife's pasta was very hard , but most importantly had no flavour , I asked my steak mideum and it was well done !

Probably because was Mother's Day and I appreciate you are very busy today. But I travel for 2 hours to meet with my family and got very disappointed with the food. That is a shame because we love to come to this restaurant. My sister travel from Essex an us from West Sussex my son from the north , all of us travelling for a good meal and gathering , so obviously very disappointed this time :(
