This is the second time we have dined here I was disappointed with the service on the first visit but put it down to a one off. This time I came with friends hoping for a better experience unfortunately Jamie's has not improved and I will not be dining here again ,the waiter did his but waiting forty five minutes for water not to mention drinks from the bar was unacceptable to say the least.

My 94 yr.old Mother and I booked the set lunch
We both ordered the minestrone which was absolutely delicious, served in generous sized ceramic bowls. We both agreed this was the best minestrone we had experienced for many years.
For mains, Mum had tagliatelle bolognese, while I had the linguine with mussels etc. For both dishes the pasta was cooked to perfection and the flavours of the sauces were just divine.
All in all we had a wonderful, tasty memorable lunch
Thank you to all the friendly staff and ro Jamie

My friend and I had a great lunch at Jamie's. I have a Gold card and we enjoyed the cocktail offer and taster food too. I chose the burger which was ok but very dry, the garlic fries were awesome though. My friend had the seafood risotto and she enjoyed it too.
I would recommend Jamie's restaurant and hope to return soon.

No problem with booking service but found the food very disappointing. Chips by time arrived were over-cooked and cold. Lasagne tasteless, top burnt and there appeared to be neither cheese or herbs added to it. Seemed to be mince between too many sheets of lasagne. Had 4 mouthfuls and gave rest to ever-hungry grandson. The squid was also cold.

As always staff couldn't have been friendlier. Husband had a really delicious steak, my pasta was disappointing and the breadcrumbs forgotten. The restaurant is in a beautiful building and has a great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant but I don't think the standard of food lives up to other Jamie's Italian restaurants in Scotland.
