A lovely afternoon spent with a friend. Fabulous setting (overlooking the Thames & Big Ben) This is my 3rd visit here and it never fails to please. Perfect birthday present for friends who have everything! Service is excellent which adds to the pleasure of the outing.

My second visit here. The Library Lounge is beautiful. We had the most lovely afternoon - excellent service, wonderful views, and great value for money. Thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely come again and recommend to others.

Service was fabulous, staff were friendly, helpful and any additional items which were requested arrived in no time at all. The 'free flowing bubbly' was definitely flowing with glasses being refilled automatically. The selection on different teas was amazing, didn't know there were do many variations to try. It was a great relaxing start to the Easter Holidays with fabulous views of the Thames . Would definitely recommend ??

Lovely service and atmosphere. The free flowing bubbles were genuinely free flowing and the food was very good. Once you got past the maze like Marriott entrance, it felt like a private members' club. Fantastic.

This leaves the Ritz , and other establishments ,way behind in all departments, for the Afternoon Tea experience. The library is intimate, and cleverly arranged so you feel there is no one else there, the staff are well trained and treat you as special ( nothing was too much trouble ), a romantic setting overlooking Big Ben,and great value for money. The afternoon tea "deal "included "a glass "of champagne, or so I thought - BUT they continually topped up our galsses ! Lastly the actual choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes was well presented and imaginative. All in all, a 5 star experience, and in my opinion just cannot be beaten in London
