Food OK but service erratic. My friend asked how many lamb chops would be served and was told three or four - in fact only two were served. He naturally complained. I was served with a steak and salad: the salad was served without dressing (i.e dry). I asked for dressing for the salad and mustard for the steak - neither were forthcoming. I handed back the un-eaten dry salad after the meal. On a positive note: although the steaks are small, they were cooked as requested. Three courses with wine - £50 per head

Lovely food

The steak here is always perfect.
The service is hectic at lunch because there are so many customers but the food is consistently good
We actually had the set lunch menu and the included wine is much better than expected

Very good food and ambiance. Although there are a lot of tables (the restaurant is deceptively large) they are not close together which makes conversation easy.

The staff were friendly and attentive, managing to address our requests swiftly and to our satisfaction.

The staff were very friendly, wine was good but the food was underwhelming.

As a steak lover and for the prices on the menu as well as location I was expecting far more.

The chimichurri was mostly oil (although upon querying this the waitress brought over sauce with much less oil), the spicy sauce for the potatoes was bland and the steak was not juicy and definitely not medium rare.

We spend £135 on a meal we didn't enjoy and could have cooked at home, but better.

Overall a mediocre experience and I wouldn't go again.

Food was absolutely exquisite, they really know what they are doing with steak. Only rated four stars as it was absolutely dead in the restaurant and service was still slow, bit of a shame as everything else would come highly recommended.

The food was very good as usual. We weren't offered the lunch deal, although the flyer was included when we received our bill so it was still going. Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow. Drinks arrived promptly, but there was a very long wait for everything else. The restaurant was fairly empty and yet we still had to call the waiter over for our orders to be taken. Had it not been for the slow service, I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.

There were seven male diners in our group, all over 45 years of age. Our table was booked for 20:30. When we arrived, we were greeted and shown to our table. The restaurant is in an excellent location, so we wondered why it wasn't bursting at the seams! In fact, the place looked empty? On first thoughts, we felt that this wasn't a good sign, but the night was still young. Our waitress Sara was excellent and deserves a special mention. If it is possible via this review to pass on our positive feedback to her, that would be great. She gave us her undivided attention, and offered advice on choice selections on food and drinks. We ordered varying drinks - cocktails, beer and wine. They were all very nice, but just a little expensive. The Alhambra beer was particularly good. There were 5 different selections of starter chosen by our group, and everyone enjoyed what they had. Our group chose four different selections of main course, with six choosing steak, of varying type and size. There was one lamb chops meal chosen, and a selection of varying side dishes. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, and no one offered any negative comments. Four diners had a sweet, and most finished with coffee. We received excellent service throughout our dining experience, and were all full at the end. This was an excellent evening, with everyone enjoying their meal. Although there were not many diners in the restaurant, this didn't affect the ambience as we were too consumed in our own company. The restaurant is well decorated, clean and well lit, with nice background music. The bill came to £499.43 which already included the gratuity. Each diner paid £71.00, and all thought it was good value for money. I would certainly dine there again, and would recommend it to friends. Thank you Bookatable.co.uk for handling the booking.
