The bar was closed for a private function, so will revisit. Seated facing the chef's working. Great food.

We loved the food but the service was very poor. Firstly we were sat on a strange shaped table with 3 people on one side and 1 person the other which made them feel like they were being interviewed! Given there were plenty of normal tables for 4, we asked to be moved but thought it strange that they should seat us there in the first instance given the place was empty! We then found that the staff kept forgetting the drinks and spilt a whole glass of wine over one of us and later nearly knocked another glass over! At least they deducted the service charge from the bill!

Good atmosphere and great service. Enjoyed the experience. Food is good, but I felt it is good average Japanese food. Considering the price, I was expecting the better quality.

Very good food and the fixed price offers good value. I found it hard to fault.

I booked the offer menu for 9pm. We were seated at 9:30pm! We were told that the offer menu was not available till 10pm and the kitchen would not be ready to prepare our meal until 10pm. We were made to wait!!
The waiters in suits were very arrogant and rude. I feel that we did NOT get a service and it was a birthday meal for my husband which made it feel worse!!!

Great interior, staff distracted and a little bored they need refreshing. Salmon attractive but dry. Dessert great. Overall a little shallow.

Good in parts - the food was fine . The restaurant itself is an interesting space. Service was patchy - attentive when they came to the table but slow. We chose the tasting menu and weren't even offered the desert that was part of the deal. We didn't pursue this as time had run out for us, interesting that that we weren't served all 4 courses in the 2.5 hours we were ther but the website indicates you are restricted to two hours only.
