More about Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel
Recipient of a Michelin star and 3 AA Rosettes, Alyn Williams presents elegant fine-dining at his eponymously named restaurant at The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. After 8 years of honing his talents under Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, Williams finally established himself at The Westbury in 2011, and was immediately named National Chef of the Year the following year.
The Alyn Williams menu is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients from local suppliers. A 7 course tasting menu features inventions like the foie gras with prune, celeriac, bacon and espresso, and langoustine with lemongrass, chilli and cucumber. Myriad cooking techniques are called upon for the a la carte menu, which includes succulent barbecued monkfish, griddled Scottish lobster and iced coconut parfait with lime and peanuts.
Gold-ringed napkins and luxurious suede dining chairs characterise the interior at the Alyn Williams restaurant, where wines are cherry-picked from the finest producers in France and the New World. Separate vegetarian menus allow diners to experience innovative combinations in dishes like the smoked egg, leek and truffle.
Alyn Williams at The Westbury Hotel is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Conduit Street in London, The Westbury is a 6-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.
