More about Swan, Shakespeare's Globe
Set over 2 floors, Swan is located at the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe with stunning views of the Thames and St Paul’s. Open all day, this beautiful bar and restaurant serves hearty, modern British food alongside afternoon tea.
Served throughout the day, the Swan menu showcases locally sourced British produce and changes seasonally. A theatre menu is served prior to all performances at The Globe, whilst the set Sunday menu includes a range of traditional roasts alongside modern British options.
The Swan Bar offers all-day dining, from breakfasts, through to lunch, evening meals and cocktails. Focusing on homemade British classics, the menu features fish and chips, sharing boards and indulgent puddings, and is joined by a drinks list which includes local ales, interesting wines and unique cocktails.
In celebration of Shakespeare 400 and Emma Rice’s staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Globe Theatre, Swan has launched A Midsummer Night’s Dream afternoon tea. Available daily, the tea includes a collection of sweet and savoury treats, many of which are inspired by the characters and foods from the play. A savoury take on afternoon tea is also offered, in the form of the specially designed 'Gentleman’s Tea'.
Offering glorious British eclecticism and perfectly complementing the theatrical buzz of the next-door Globe theatre, Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe is a 10-minute walk from London Bridge Station.
