We had a wonderful evening. The suroundings were opulent , the staff were courteous, profssional and attentive and the food was first class. Each of our courses was imaginative, beaiutifully presented and most importantly delicious. Even an unexpected and unwelcome fire alarm which meant we had to evaculate the restaurant briefly didn't spoil our evening . Again the staff were professional , handled the situation calmly and competently and ensured all the customers were escorted safely from the building. Even though it was fortunately a false alarm and we were outside for a matter of minutes, the restaurant reduced out Bill significantly (we were taking advantage of the £30 per head special deal anyway so this resulted in an excellent value for money meal). All ih alll I could not fault with the place and would highly recommend it for a special evening.

I was already not interested by the time I got there after being contacted numerous times to confirm my booking. It was unnecessarily pretentious. After making our booking I got an email stating that it had a "glam" dress code. We had the London Restaurant Festival menu. The food was good but not amazing. The dessert was not at all like what was described and we had to pay extra for our sides as our main was simply steak and a sauce. Also the service charge was a steep and undeserving 15%. It was not at all worth the money. There location is good but there was no view. Avoid!!!

It started so well. Drinks were served promptly, order taken quickly and efficiently. Bread and our starter arrived. The tuna was underwhelming but overall not bad. Then our main courses arrived. New York Strip - fairly easy to get right in a restaurant specialising in steak. But no. I had one bite that was completely inedible and when I cut through the rest of the steak I discovered that the whole thing was riddled with fat and sinew. I called over our waiter. He promptly apologised and took the steak away to be replaced. Excellent. Except, another waiter then brought the steak back, held it in my face, and asked me if I even knew what cut of meat it was. This prompted me to educate him on what cut of meat this was meant to be and, highlighting the key characteristics of the piece of meat in front of me, I explained why it was not, indeed a sirloin. He then took it away and replaced my steak with another, however by this point, and it was some time later that the replacement arrived, I was so angry that I had lost my appetite. I asked to speak to the manager who then left me waiting for nearly 10 minutes before coming over. He dealt with my issues with not an insignificant degree of incredulity. We were having a set menu, and neither of us had really eaten our mains, I had lost my appetite, and my partners steak had been replaced also, but sadly with something similar to what I had been served the first time. We explained that we didn't wish to stay for dessert. Grudgingly, he comp'd our meals. Perhaps, had I made it clear to them when I arrived that I am not a tourist and therefore will not be fobbed off with pomposity or dazzled by their quite exorbitant prices, they may have made slightly more effort to put things right at the time. If a waiter in my restaurant ever treated a guest the way we were treated last night he would be dismissed immediately. There are not enough words (and sadly characters remaining) to say how truly terrible this restaurant is...

I love this place and when I came across this deal I was super excited. The quality of food is amazing, and the service was great. I have dined at stk on the full priced menu and was worried that as it was cheaper it wouldn't be as nice but that wasn't the case it was just as tasty.

Good value menu, £30 for 4 courses, i didnt feel we got to experience the best of the menu though, the steak and desserts were unforgettable ... lacking some flavour ... the service was terrible though!! glad we had a menu deal would have been disappointed paying full price. Good atmosphere! I got called to reconfirm my booking, when I called back was on hold for 10 minutes, then got cut off, queues to reconfirm were ridiculous!

Very modern restaurant although a little too corporate for my personal tastes. It seemed to be filled with diners who were entertaining clients.
Food was very good.

The service was excellent as always. The staff are incredibly friendly. Ambience is great. Food was delicious and as it was my birthday the manager came over and wished me a happy birthday which I thought was a nice touch. My only criticism is that the courses come too quick so u do feel a bit rushed.

This will no doubt be one of my new favourite places to eat in London. The food was amazing and presented very well. Quite pricey but totally worth it. We had the mini burgers, sea bass and steak. For desert, the baileys lollipop and ice cream. Beautiful!
