Decor not up to standard - despite booking got put in the extra part of the restaurant, which had not seen much paint of late

Disappointing for me personally because I received the last of the end of the joint of beef (which was then replaced). It was full of gristle and I was unable to eat much of it at all. I didn't complain at the time because I could see it would involve a lot of wasted time and, for all I knew I might still end up with inedible meat. The rest of my party chose a different meat and seemed quite OK. Incidentally I saw on the way out that you are sourcing some beer from 'Brewdog' but not their brilliant alcohol-free (0.5%) beer called 'Nanny State'. Silly name but brilliant beer and so much better than Becks Blue iof you want beer rather than lager.

I had the roast and enjoyed it I normally have steak as I go here a lot food I have eaten is always good service is good it's the best place to eat in Newham hope your chefs stay for long time as its those that make your resturant good just fine the price of the wine a bit steep as I buy bear foot in adds for half the price you charge but food is reasonably priced

We arrived early but was seated promptly, the food arrived quickly after being ordered we were not rushed to finish each course before next arrived, the portions were big considering the price, the staff were extremely friendly

Thought restaurant could do with an update. My husband had the fish which was very nice, can't say the same about my smothered chicken, it was very dry and over cooked , my granddaughters chicken nuggets were all coating and little chicken., she didn't enjoy it, going again tonight so will see again.
