More about The Brasserie at The Cumberland

Defined by its relaxed, informal setting, The Brasserie at The Cumberland serves a menu of European classics with a distinctly British twist. Effortlessly chic, the dazzling back-lit bar is the focal point of the main dining room.

Sophisticated options include pan-fried haddock fillet on a poached potato with a cockle, leek and parsley casserole, and a succulent shallow-fried fillet of chicken Holstein topped with fried organic hen’s egg and served with anchovies, capers, shallots, parsley and nut brown butter. Delightfully indulgent options extend through to the dessert menu at The Brasserie restaurant in London, featuring a chocolate and hazelnut pudding with hazelnut ice cream and a warm chocolate sauce.

Brasserie afternoon tea combines delicate sandwiches, scones and cakes with exquisite Higgins Tea, while a sumptuous Sunday carvery menu offers a 3-course weekend treat. For a sophisticated drinks setting, look no further than The Brasserie’s Momentus Bar, a sultry yet elegant bar space lit by atmospheric purple lighting.

The service was poor, the food was mediocre and the atmosphere cold. Unfortunately won't be going back

We decided for Fish & Chips A La Carte and it was the most amazing dinner, from a French national on business in London.
You can Eat in comfort and shop along Oxford St, what more would you like.

The food and service was wonderful. the only downside was that the football was on the tv, which was ok. however the sound was up to loud, i am sure if i had asked to turn it down this would not have been a problem. the food was lovely and would go again.

Food was excellent and brilliant value at the special 2 course offer.Bottled water at £3.90 was excessive - tapwater next time! Not a 12.5% service dining room. A good overall experience.

It was a lovely meal, the music was a tad loud but they did have a reception going on in the same room.
