We both enjoyed the starter and the main (I had sea bass). The pudding was okay (apple crumble with ice cream) I think I was full. This place is a small restaurant with good service, you are not rushed to leave. We had our 20th anniversary here.

Elegant surroundings. Excellent, attentive service. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.
Only downside, there were only 2 of us in the restaurant, so lacking in atmosphere.

We had a very lovely and special evening with friends (4 in of us in total) The restaurant is only small, not noisy and perfect when out for a special occasion or just want somewhere smart to go for a Saturday night. Food and. Service was excellent - fixed price menu of £35 including a glass of champagne is good value for a 5 star hotel but don't forget there is service and any extras on top of this such as any other drinks, coffee. Next door was a jazz singer and we could have had our dessert and coffee in the lounge but chose to stay in the oval dining room so we could talk - we could hear the lovely jazz in the background anyway.
Overall - this is what you expect a 5 star hotel and restaurant to be. We did feel spoilt with the great service and we did enjoy the food and would definately go back.
