Very good food and drinks. The service could be improved.

The deal was excellent value, with great menu choices and wonderful food. The restaurant was fabulous with very attentive staff who made great wine and cocktail recommendations. We had a lovely time and will definitely go back, although the standard menu is quite pricey so only for a special occasion.

Booked a £35 deal, though with wine and water still came to £130plus. Ambience good,be nice for cocktails after work.Service friendly but much too attentive, they all but eat our food for us and there was always some one or two hovering which was disconcerting..take a sip or two of wine and the glass was filled up...all too much. Food was nice but really not much better tasting than a good Gerard street restaurant, it was prettier and certainly more delicate...but nothing bowled us over...desserts were good tho.but next time I'll pay £35 for two in Gerard street much better value!

Excellent food, attentive but unobtrusive staff,a well worthwhile visit. Only problem was a locating it. Our taxi driver did not know the location. Found it eventually.

From the moment we stepped in through the door we were greeted with smiles. I went with my three children to celebrate my son's 21st birthday.
We had the set menu, with some extras. The dim sum starters were delicious, I especially loved the mushroom ones. We took photos of all the courses as they were so pretty.
Mains were lovely too - except the duck which was cold. As it was cold in both platters I though that perhaps it was served like that, however when I asked the staff they said no it should have been warm. So a negative there, I was surprised as it is not something that you would expect from a Michelin stared restaurant. But the kids still ate it all.
Desserts were very pretty, some tasted wonderful (chocolate and cherry log) others were very bland (cheesecake) again a bit hit and miss. They had served my son's dessert with a Happy 21st Birthday written in chocolate, which was nice of them.

So in summary the service was great can't be faulted, the food was a bit hit and miss. It was my kids first taste of a Michelin star restaurant and in their words.... is that it?

It was amazing! We were seated in a lovely intimate area of the restaurant and the staff were very helpful with choices of cocktails and food. Its a place that we would definitely go back to! Great food and drink and a wonderfully unique ambience!

We went for the £35 pp menu in the end but asked to swap the dim sum starter for the crispy duck salad starter instead as a friend had told us that that was good.
The chef said he could swap the starters but at an extra cost of £3 pp - making it £38 per head instead of £35 pp.
We initially thought that was okay as on the a la carte menu there is a £6 difference between the dim sum and crispy duck salad starters.
However the portion size of the crispy duck starter was very small and much smaller than if ordered off the a la carte menu. Barely a duck breast between the two of us.
It was a big disappointment.
In fact the portion sizes of the mains were tiny too, only the deserts were a reasonable size.
We left the restaurant hungry and a little annoyed as the price versus the portion sizes. We had barely a spoonful each of each of the main courses.
The service charge is also 13.5% as opposed to the usual 12.5%

The restaurant is quite hidden, I almost missed it, as it was tucked away in the corner, but loved the inconspicuousness made it feel exclusive. We were greeted and seated quickly. The menu was clearly explained to us and drinks arrived quickly and in style. The duck salad starter it was delicious - very simple and fresh, but perfect as a starter. The mains were out of this world, the best Satay chicken, sea bass and egg friend rice that have eaten, vegetables made to perfection. Desert selection was extensive and perfectly presented. I was really impressed with the food and the service, I would definitely recommend it.
