It was very disappointing. The sandwiches were tasteless, the pastries were dry and service quite mediocre. A complete waist of money. Champagne was great but the chef couldn't mess that up.

Good the and food. But the sandwiches was a bit to the dry side. As they had been standing too long without covering.
The musician playing the Harp was excellent intertainment.

it was not bad but not great either. A little too light on the patisseries of the afternoon tea.
And unfortunately cinnamon was overpresent.

We took afternoon tea at The Park Lane hotel. It was very enjoyable, we weren't rushed by the staff, who were also very friendly.

An absolutely delightful experience! While listening to the harpist play, we selected the high tea option - the food was perfectly prepared (the egg royale), the tea was hot and tasty, and the scones and desserts capped off this wonderful experience. The wait staff (Maria in particular) was attentive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant which added to the experience.

Sorrundings are beautiful and the refurbishment excellent. Staff are so nice and kind. Music from the harp in the background ever so relaxing. Hovever the we found the sandwiches oddly composed and the pastries flat and boring. Scones delicious.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the beautiful palm court with the harpist playing, it was a little busy when we arrived but we were soon found a table and looked after very well by Nicole, who was very pleasant and informative if rather busy she did seem on her own for a lot of the time. The food was all very good especially the ham/ celeriac on beetroot bread and the delicious pastries. Thank you for a very relaxing enjoyable afternoon.

Booked afternoon for a friends birthday on the deal, with unlimited Sparking Wine...everything was delicious, the wine was free flowing and if you wanted extra sandwiches/cakes etc you could simply ask for them. very good value for money, our waitresses were amazing and were very knowlegable about the different types of tea, we finished off with a coffee each too for no extra charge. would definitely recommend!
