More about One Canada Square

The ground floor of the iconic One Canada Square tower is home to its glamorous, eponymous restaurant and bar. Grand and marble-clad, One Canada Square conjures up cutting edge European food and sophisticated cocktails, as befits its slick Canary Wharf location.

Creative dishes on the One Canada Square menu are given a modern European twist. A delicate scallop and shrimp burger lines up alongside spring pea tortellini with sauce vierge and pecorino, and a sumptuous grill section with juicy steaks and opulent lobster. Keep an eye out for salted caramel popcorn, while the breakfast menu is a thought-provoking selection with soft shell crab ‘benedict’ and blueberry buttermilk pancakes.

Inventive cocktails at the One Canada Square restaurant in Canary Wharf include a host of signature gin & tonic recipes, as well as modern classics, martinis and manhattans. Giant marble pillars reach up from the restaurant floor to the ceiling high above, while a gleaming silver bar takes centre stage.

One Canada Square is just a 2-minute walk from the Canary Wharf DLR Station, and a 5-minute walk from Canary Wharf Tube Station.

Food, service and ambience were good. We had the 50% off the food deal, which makes it affordable. They had not received the Bookatable booking but luckily I had the email. Our only complaint was the temperature, it was freezing cold. Outside temperature was zero and it seems they are dependent on heat from the main building they are in, which had obviously been turned right down on a Saturday night. Take a rug!

The venue looks fabulous and is hidden away beautifully in the heart of CW. However it then under delivered. We were there for a 7.45am slot for breakfast but the service was really disappointing. They couldn't wait to get our order, then couldn't wait for us to finish to clear the table. Then when we did want the bill we couldn't find anyone. As we were trying to have a celebratory breakfast as well we were really disappointed to hear we couldn't have a bucks fizz till after 9am. The food was ok but not good enough to overcome the poor service.

Excellent service, great food. We plumped for the bottomless champagne and our glasses were duly filled for 2 hours, which was great!

Very slow service - half our table of 5's food came 10 minutes after the rest with no explanation, very inconvenient for a breakfast meeting. They also forgot specific requests that had been made at the time of ordering and the food quality was quite poor.

Pea and mint soul was amazing and the shrimp and scallop burger was different but tasted lovely all the same. The pianist set the tone and had great voice. The only setback was that we felt slightly rushed and the waitress took some our plates before we had all finished eating.

Everything about my dining experience was amazing! the restaurant was a lovely setting, very relaxing and the piano being played during our lunch agve such a lovely atmosphere, the food was so good and the bottomless drinks were fantastic! the staff were very attentive and we did nto have an empty glass throughout our whole stay at the restaurant...each dish we had was very good and I could not pick a favourite if I tried, the starter, main and desert were fab! I will definitely be going back again :-)

We choose the After Dark Menu and the food was delicious. The staff were extremely professional and thoroughly spoilt us. We didn't once have to ask for our glasses to be topped up. The singer / piano player was fantastic and the range of songs he sang was outstanding. Unfortunately I believe he was only temporarily filling in for there regular player. Would highly recommend and will be going again.
