Excellent value for money, really good service. A bit of a gem in Crouch End you'd think that because they include the rice with your meal in the pricing that the portions would be small....not at all the general cost for a curry in £8/£9 at most and what you get is more than your money's worth. Extensive list of specials on the blackboard to choose from as well. Very spicy food from what I have experienced when they describe a dish as 'little spicy' on the menu but that's a good thing at this time of year.

Place looked nice and clean. Service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh and nice. However, the food had far too much salt! Also, some picture aids in menu would be so beneficial to make decisions.

Nice though basic place with tightly packed tables. Noodle dish (no 33) gloopy & unappetising, curry was good. When it got busy they seemed too understaffed to deal with competing demands. Friendly staff.

I reviewed this place once in the past, but we came back to see it again as we liked the food last two times quite a lot. In some ways, nothing changed- food is great, service as usual not so good. I would omit the starters, as they seemed to come from the freezer and just got pre-heated quickly.
The mains- very good- we went for two dishes from the special menu on the board. Last time there was four of us and three of my friends got their mains before me- and I had to wait 10 minutes. Then three of us got desserts, and the fourth person got theirs when we finished. This time- similarly- I got my food what seemed like eternity before my partner. I first waited a bit, but it started getting cold, and ended up eating half my portion before his plate arrived, and I am a very slow eater. The food itself was good, but we would have loved to eat it at the same time. The waiters, very many of them, also kept on clearing the plates even though one of us was still eating. They were polite and lovely, but maybe not taught how to run the service. On the plus side, the orders from the bar came very quickly. Just not sure why this place finds it so hard to serve two people at the same time!

The food here is great. We came as a group of 4 and all ordered from the specials menu - everything was delicious.
The service was a bit all over the place though, and food all came out at different times which really wasn't ideal, particularly when the last member of our group was left waiting for quite some time...
