The fish and seafood is the star attraction here and as such are treated with the utmost respect; nothing is sourced from deep sea trawlers or endangered stocks and the company is dedicated to the protection of our seas and maritime communities. Loch Fyne oysters, mussels and smoked salmon are de rigueur here, but if they are not to your taste, there is a startling array of other seafood dishes available, such as smoked haddock chowder or lobster served with a truffle mayonnaise. There are wines to complement all of the dishes here and a three-course meal will only cost around £32.

Beginning its illustrious career as a humble road stall in Loch Fyne, the Loch Fyne company has unveiled a network of around 40 restaurants nationwide. One of its newest additions, in Twickenham, is already a local favourite. Old pine furnishings and wooden floors, combined with marine art and ambient lighting fuse together to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can enjoy the best the sea has to offer. You might begin with salt and pepper Cornish squid with a chilli and coriander dressing, followed by pan-fried bream fillets with rocket pesto and roasted garlic mash; the selection for seafood lovers is extensive and of obvious quality.
