Since opening, The Montagu has quickly established itself as a neighbourhood destination restaurant.
With a classic contemporary style and tranquil views over the stunning Portman Square, The Montagu provides a vibrant setting to indulge in a wide range of British and European seasonal dishes, prepared in a striking open kitchen. The Montagu's Chef's Table is a foodie experience with a 5-course menu, prepared and delivered by the chefs, right before your eyes. An extensive wine list offers 70 labels covering mix of New and Old World wines, with numerous selections available by the glass.
Awarded the prestigious Tea Guild's Award of Excellence 2010, The Montagu offers a full afternoon tea service from 3:00pm to 6:00pm which is the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.
Well-loved dishes include Seared Scallops with Carrot Purée and Salmon Roe Sauce, whilst main courses include Duck Breast with Spinach, Carrots, Blackberries and Madeira Jus. Fish-lovers will enjoy such dishes as Dover Sole with New Potatoes and Lemon Butter. Those with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed by the desserts, including the favourite Sticky Toffee and Date Pudding with Toffee Sauce and Cornish Vanilla Ice Cream!
