    Das Essen ist hervorragend, besonders auch für Vegetarier. Beste vegetarische Sterneküche in Zürich. Service sehr aufmerksam. Atmosphäre locker und sehr entspannt.

    We had last been to the restaurant in the Atlantis many years ago, but not since it had changed management. The decor of the entire hotel is a matter of taste, of course. We found it rather cold and this includes the restaurant Ecco. Especially the floor tiling gives the impression of frigidity. It also contributes to the poor acoustics, making talking to one another, or trying to listen to what the waiter or waitress is trying to explain about the menus and dishes, more strenuous than it need be. Otherwise, the food and the service are excellent. What one expects in a two star restaurant. We chose the "menu surprise" and were firstly very pleasantly surprised by the quality and variation of the amuses bouche. This is often a disappointing feature even in quality restaurants. The menu itself being mostly fish and seafood was quite to our liking. The main course of turbot with seafood was particularly delicious. Again, the service was excellent. The main waiter Christian was most attentive. We were also pleased to have the wine recommendations from the sommelier and pleasantly surprised that he did not automatically steer us to the more expensive vintages.
