As the name implies, [m]eatery in Hamburg is all about the meat – beef, pork, lamb and seafood cooked perfectly and served creatively in a pleasant and modern ambience on the edge of Hamburg’s city centre.
The [m]eatery menu offers juicy burgers and a wide choice of seafood, including swordfish, tuna, monkfish or sea bass. The steaks are the main attraction, with a choice of Argentine Black Angus, Corn-Fed American or North German Husum Weiderind beef. In true US steakhouse style, the drinks menu specialises in beers and cocktails, but there is also a good selection of wines on offer.
The minimalist interior at the [m]eatery Hamburg is accented by colourful pastel armchairs and tablecloths. A particular highlight is the glass dry-aging box, where whole sides of beef are aged 30 days before they are prepared and served.
In Hamburg's New Town, the [m]eatery restaurant is just a 3-minute walk from Gänsemarkt Subway Station.
