El Boliche Bacán specialises in chargrilled Argentinean meats cooked on the traditional "parrillada" as well as the freshest shellfish and seafood delivered straight from the Galician coast in northern Spain. This Argentinean restaurant, which is located in the heart of the Salamanca district in Madrid, has two dining rooms and can seat up to 140 people. Its central location makes it easy to find and there are plenty of 24-hour car parks nearby. The menu is based around the "parrillada" - the celebrated Argentinean charcoal grill that imparts a wonderful characteristic flavour to the food. The long and varied menu (more than 60 dishes) has something for everyone and for every occasion. Recommendations include starters of grilled vegetables, morcilla blood sausage or chorizo, or some of the superb Galician shellfish such as scallops, tiny spider crab croquettes or sea urchin eggs. Both the rice dishes and the shellfish taste as fresh as the sea. El Boliche Bacán goes to great lengths to ensure that its meat and seafood meet its client's expectations and places great emphasis on sourcing the very finest products. The restaurant received the Best Restaurant Design Award 2005 thanks to its interior decorated in oak (all of the restaurant's furniture is made from oak) and there is a seawater tank so you can choose your own shellfish.
