Vin et Marée Maine was opened on the site of a famous fish restaurant from the 70's and 80's on Avenue de Maine just a short distance from Montparnasse. The first thing you will see is a vast fish tank containing langoustine and lobsters, ready to be plucked out and dished up. Vin et Marée is restaurant dedicated entirely to fish, seafood and wine. Fresh fish are brought every day from the ports of Brittany and Normandy with only the best of the night's catch making it onto the tables. Consequently the menu changes daily depending on the catch. Wines are picked specially to go with the fish. The Zanzibar inspired house dessert of Baba au Rhum is also worth trying, especially if you are a fan of Rhum. The restaurant has air conditioning and there is a car valet service.
