Another bold modern eatery from celebrity chef Dylan McGrath, Taste at Rustic showcases eclectic Japanese recipes in a sultry modern space. Witness leaping flames from the open kitchen, and move into the intimate Bonsai Bar after meals to sample premium sakes and inventive Japanese cocktails.

The Taste at Rustic menu showcases McGrath's signature flair, with Japanese flavours blended with influences from South America. Delicate sashimi, maki and nigiri creations feature fresh Kabayaki eel, tuna and Wagyu beef with chimichurri, while the tempura selection adds in bold citrus accompaniments and aromatic stocks. There are warming shiitake stews, glazed sticky pork from the hibachi grill, and regularly tweaked tasting menus too.

    Reservation was not there on arrival. The hostess was excellent in fixing the problem. Food and service was fantastic.
