King crab from Finnmark, dry-aged meat and reindeer from the neighborhood are among the culinary delights. Funktionærmessen Restaurant has a renowned history, and the place as always been associated with high quality. It was here that the mining company's functionaries had their meals, enjoying the panoramic views. The restaurant has a new menu and interior, but the history, the view and the good quality is the same.
AMAZING WINE CELLAR
A restaurant that aims to be the best in Longyearbyen needs to have a good selection of wines. A we are proud to say that the restaurant's wine list boasts over 300 types of wine, and the wine cellar contains some very good vintage bottles - especially from well-known Bourdeaux producers. We have over 15,000 bottles available and can also tempt with over 70 varieties of champagne, some of which are of the very rare variety. Here you can make some good choices!

Vi hadde et flott måltid på restauranten selv om bordet ikke var klart da vi kom 15 minutter for tidlig. Vi måtte vente i resepsjonen/baren og der ble vi sittende i 30 minutter og vente på bordet. Når vi skulle bestille så var ikke servitøren vår klar over at vi hadde booket en fast meny og vi fikk beskjed om at dette ikke fantes og at vi måtte bestille a lá carte. Etter forretten ble servitøren klar over feilen og vi ble igjen ledet over på den riktige menyen som vi hadde bestilt. Maten var fantastisk og i så store mengder at vi ikke klarte å spise opp alt sammen. Mange deilige smaker og kombinasjoner.

Fantastic service, incredible Champagne list and delicious food. We combined the Christmas specials with king crab and it was a great success.
