    Pleasant restaurant with good service. Delicious vegan food. Wine a bit pricey.

    From coming in the restaurant to leaving every part of the experience was perfect. We were greeted warmly, our waiter was considerate and checked how we'd like our glassware and flatware handled. He was warm and funny, and we really felt like he invested in us having a good experience. The wine, a bottle of the 420 Pecorino was beautiful. For a starter (which was the star for us) we shared the fondue souffle. It was rich without being too much in the mouth. It was a wonderful dish. My girlfriend had the KFC and it just melted in the mouth. I had the aubergine and the flavour in that was delightful, with the wasabe in the pesto bringing just the right amount of heat with each forkful. For dessert I had the churros, the salted caramel sauce was the winner for dipping whilst the drunk cherrys were perfectly tart and helped clear the palatte after the richness that had come before. My girlfriend had a truffle which cam decadently decorated on the plate and presented wonderfully. If we were eating with our eyes alone we would have walked away full and happy. There was nothing we would have changed about the evening, everything you and your team provided for us was perfect.

    Have always enjoyed Terre a Terre but haven't been for a view years because of moving round the country. Having gone more into vegan and vegetarian lately we decided to return and try lunch. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We shared a cheese fondant to begin which was very rich and yummy. For our mains we shared the mixed platter with chips on the side. Although it was good it was not as good as I remember from past meals we have had there. Your chips were okay but not so chunky and crispy on the outside with soft centre like before and although the garlic mayo was nice we used to enjoy the original babaganoush that was served with them but they were still good. We did however really enjoy trying your mixed plate of dishes. I know with the virus going on things are difficult and you have to limit your menu but I hope when things improve you will bring back some of the dishes from the past such as the sweetcorn fritters with avocado and the mushrooms in a turret of pastry with a red wine jus. We will be back of course as your food is always lovely and something I wouldn't do with such care and preparation at home.
