Have been coming to Tylney Hall for over 10 years and it never disappoints. You get a very warm welcome and the staff are always very polite and tentative. The restaurant is lovely and the food is amazing! I don't think my husband and I have ever had a bad meal. I totally recommend you visit.

Our afternoon tea was perfect, from the beautiful lounge, delicious food and wonderful service we came away feeling very spoilt!

Food was lovely. The waiter asked if we had dietary restrictions and I am a pescatarian so he brought me a pescatarian afternoon tea. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The setting was extremely relaxing.

Was welcomed at the door and then taken to our table. It took some time to be served. We had to asked to order. Food was nice however, I personally didn't think it was worth the money. We stayed for a drink following the tea and waited again for service. We had to ask for a drinks menu and then again had to ask to order. Had a nice afternoon but wouldn't rush back. Would expect a little more for nearly £100 for 2 people to have afternoon tea

The quality of the food was excellent all round but the customer service was not what we would expect for the amount we were paying. The waiting staff seemed indifferent to whether we enjoyed our meal or not, were unable to find out answers to our menu queries and didn't offer to find out. Got parts of the order wrong and were very slow with service. To top it all off the waiter checking the bookings had his facemask round his chin when he was the one person speaking face to face in close proximity to the customers!

Absolutely fabulous lunch. Very friendly staff and extremely accommodating when we were late due to traffic. Beautiful country house and garden.

I am disappointed in myself that I paid the full bill. I didn’t want to embarrass anyone at the time. We paid for 4 afternoon teas. The cakes weren’t eaten by anyone - they were sickly and far too sweet. The emphasis on the dessert was more about the Halloween presentation than the taste. The cookie was soft too. The scones were okay but very small. Coffee was weak. It was overall way overpriced. We weren’t even on the list when we arrived. I feel I should get a refund and am very tempted to write a review elsewhere. I have been to Tylney Hall 3 times before, stayed there twice so I was most disappointed.

Food enjoyable, although not a lot of choice especially pudding. Waiter also cleared our starter plates and I still my fork in my hand so felt pressured to quickly eat that last mouthfull so he could take my plate and cutlery.
