Chips were crap

Very pleasant, polite, efficient staff and food was hit and of a very good standard

Very friendly and polite staff nothing too much trouble for them. A most enjoyable evening.

Booked table for 3oclock got to the white lion for 2.50. Had to wait until 3.40 before we got to table. would of waited longer if I had not complained. People where coming into the pub & getting a table as soon as they walked through the door. Anyway when we got to the table it took another 30 mins before they took our order. After all that food was like mush .looked like it was sat on the plate for hour them heated up

We enjoy most things on your menu but only had sampled the scampi and gammon on this visit.

Very nice meal in a lovely atmosphere.

have had a drink here but have not had a meal for quite a few years after a very bad meal . Went for mothers day as could get in last minute . Was a bit sceptical about what our experience would be after the last time . Food was ok and enjoyed it . The only thing that spoilt it was that one of the starters arrived after we had finished ours . The girl had forgotten to place the 3rd order with the kitchen . May consider trying White Lion again

Bad seating, by a draughty vent, spotlight shining in face. Gristly steak.

Me and wife really enjoyed our meal here.Very Tasty food. Very good service. Friendly staff.
