Beskrivelse
Tastefully constructed in the classic style of an old country pub, The Red Deer near Glasgow has beautiful gardens with seating for dining on the traditional British pub cuisine offered. Within the outer white and brick walls, the interior is decorated with a stone hearth, old-fashioned log-piles and some more modern ornaments, diversifying the vintage atmosphere.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Red Deer menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Red Deer ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
The Red Deer Cumbernauld is just 4 minutes’ drive from Croy Train Station, and 12 minutes from Glasgow.

Very friendly cosy atmosphere, staff very friendly and attentive. The food we ordered was delicious, then fish and chips was to die for. We have visited on four occasions and never been disappointed. Will return in near future as convenient to meet up with friends or family from other parts of Scotland.

Unfortunately fillet steak was a bit gristly and portions are getting smaller. We have been dining here for over 3 years and noticed the difference. I think some of the dishes are becoming too fancy so my choice is getting limited. Burgers are served on brioche buns and as a diabetic there should be choice of soft burger bun as brioche buns are not suitable. Service was up to usual standard. Little bit disappointing for once especially as it was our anniversary dinner.

When I arrived my booking couldn't be found despite my confirmation however it wasn't a problem and the staff were great in finding me a table and honouring the deal. The staff are great - very warm and friendly and the girl who looked after us (Christine) was so nice and particularly helpful.

The call back from your staff regarding a booking that was made by myself thru book a table which gave me a booking that was not possible, and rearrange it, was really good customer service, Service was good as was the food

Lovely meal. But the glass of wine was a ridiculous £8.05 for a glass. Which I find just outrageous

Very slow service - in for 1 hour 15 mins and only had starter and had to chase main course - no apology only excuse about lack of staff. Forgot the potatoes and veg with roast for 2 people. Told by waitress that she would take money off bill, but none taken off. Paid full bill and won't be back. Weren't looking for money off (only faster service as gong to cinema) but to offer and not deliver is more annoying than doing nothing in first place. Irony was that we were first people in restaurant!
