Great service, amazing steaks.

Called up to pre order as had cinema tickets booked they assured me that food would come out in plenty of time. When we arrived at restaurants had no record of pre order

Served by Steve who was really helpful. Meal was lovely--no complaints

Food really good,only is had to wait 20mins for drinks so had to go and que at the bar

Generally good food - service not quite as it should be. Ordered the ribs with fries and slaw. Upon arrival no slaw. Asked the waitress why. Answer - “sorry we’ve run out”. I said that wasn’t made clear when I ordered. The waitress then offered peas which is a rather random side to have with ribs. I then started my slawless meal but the ribs were cold inside. I tracked down the waiter and sent them back for reheating. The Manager apologised and offered a free drink as compensation.

This was a first visit before the cinema. We had a nice greeting and were shown to the table. The two of us chose the same main. The slow roasted rib of beef was truly divine. So much flavour with a nice salad with texture. I chose cheesecake and my wife had the fruit and merrengue sweet. Would definately go again when visiting Cheshire Oaks.
