In the heart of Mayfair, within a short stroll from London Piccadilly, The Kings Head has been standing since 1710, on land formerly owned by the Duke of Ablemarle. In a cosy, welcoming environment, this traditional pub serves a broad variety of delicious British dishes.
Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, The Kings Head menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.
The Kings Head bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.
The Kings Head in Green Park is a 4-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station.

The booking service was easy to do, the food was delicious, and the waitress was polite and cheery. We fully enjoyed our experience there, and no doubt will be back.

We visited on a Saturday lunch time in early January for a family event. The food was good and so was the friendly and attentive service. But the heating was out of order on a cold day and so we slowly froze at our table. Then in the Ladies bathroom the hand dryer only blew cold air - so a further cold experience. So I thought the very good waitress and kitchen were rather let down by the management of the facilities. I would not go back.
