Tomato and basil soup delicious . Beef course nice but whole plate lacked flavour, profiteroles very nice. Good service. Lighting was too bright, like a cafe. Breakfast felt rushed. We arrived at 9.40 and it was obvious they were looking towards finishing. But it was a good breakfast.

We stayed here on a Spa package deal. Lunch was lovely, soup and strawberry cheesecake for me, there was a choice. Dinner was from 7pm but we were ready for 6pm waiting, the staff overheard us saying we were hungry and took us to our table straight away. Special thanks goes to the chef who obviously put themselves out to accommodate us. They were all very attentive. I had Terrine was lovely but I stupidly didn't know the bread but it was so crisp I struggle to eat it, the waitress changed it straight away and never made us feel awkward. Dinner I had the sirloin with garlic butter and it was so nice that my mouth is watering just the thought of it. Breakfast was great as well, I think it was between 7-10.30 we went down at 8.45 and the team explained they had kept the hot food back so that it was fresh as we were the first customers. Everyone was very thoughtful.
