Beskrivelse
A short stroll from the South Bank and Southwark Cathedral, Mudlark is a cosy traditional pub serving well-loved British cuisine. The pub has long been a favourite among traders at Borough Market - London’s oldest fruit & vegetable market.
Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, the Mudlark menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.
The Mudlark bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.
Mudlark in Southwark is a 3-minute walk from London Bridge Tube Station.

Food was fine but basic and nothing special. Garlic bread was disappointing - it was literally white sliced loaf with a smear of garlic butter. The bar itself was very packed and loud. We ate upstairs which was quieter. There were far fewer options on the menu than shown online. Staff were pleasant and helpful, I knocked over my drink by accident and it was replaced without charge. Probably wouldn't go again.

Booked on line. It indicated that it was a dinning Room and there would be somebody to select beers to go with the meal. No dinning room was available. We were expected but directed to a table with had dirty glasses on. Good normal pub standard, ok, nothing special. Price was not a key factor either way. Our friends likes beer hence the choice. Plates were not removed. Table had not been cleaned. If the dinning room is closed, then don't take bookings. Toilets were not cleaned. Wash basin leaking, there was a sign on floor, but floor was soaking wet. Every toilet had paper On the floor.
